Evondos acquires Compaan to strengthen its digital homecare offering in the Netherlands
Evondos has acquired Compaan, a leading digital care platform serving homecare and geriatric rehabilitation care (GRZ) organisations across the Netherlands.
The acquisition brings together two companies with a shared mission: improving the lives of older adults through technology and services designed around the needs of the end user.
Compaan plays a central role in Dutch home care and geriatric rehabilitation. Its easy-to-use tablet solution enables remote care, video-assisted care and digital workflows. Compaan has been developing the platform for more than ten years, and over 10,000 clients now use it in 150+ home care organisations and 45 GRZ organisations. With 33 thousand virtual care moments per week, Compaan has proven to be a solution that helps care organisations organise digital care and create additional care capacity.
Evondos is one of Europe’s leading providers of automated medication dispensing and homecare services. The company supports more than 40,000 people across Europe in living independently at home by helping ensure safe and timely medication intake, while saving valuable time for care professionals.
Strong strategic fit
The acquisition brings together two highly complementary solutions serving largely overlapping customer groups in homecare and geriatric rehabilitation care. Together, Evondos and Compaan will create a stronger platform centred around the same end user, enabling care providers to deliver more efficient, scalable and client-centred care.
