Clients rely on Clock on a daily basis for their medication needs

Our services enable over 20,000 clients requiring medication to receive support with the correct use of their medication using our automatic medication dispenser. In doing so, we improve and enhance patient safety and adherence. Medido helps clients age independently in their own environment, which contributes to reducing the pressure on the healthcare system so that it can focus on more complex care.

Clients and caregiver

Do you ever worry about taking your medication on time? Or are you a caregiver and do you want to be sure that your loved one receives their medication on time, without having to constantly remind them? Clock offers the solution. Our smart medication dispenser provides a reminder at the right moment, so you can be certain that the prescribed medication is taken on time. This not only provides peace of mind and greater independence for clients but also relieves the pressure on caregivers. Together, we keep care human and manageable.

Clock for home care

Clock offers an innovative solution for medication management in outpatient care, aimed at clients living independently who require support with their medication intake. Clients with an indication for 'medication dispensing' can easily make use of this service. Is the client not yet affiliated with a home care organization, but does he or she require assistance with medication use? Then the client can register with a home care organization in his or her region regarding this care request. The Medido Medication Clock can also be requested even if the client requires no other care.

It is now also possible to deploy Medido as a proven care technology within an inpatient setting. A major advantage of this is that clients are less or no longer dependent on healthcare professionals to administer their medication.

For healthcare professionals, this means a substantial reduction in the number of medication rounds, saving a great deal of valuable time. In addition, healthcare professionals experience less administration, fewer signing-off moments, and checks of medications and bags.

"By broadly implementing welfare technology, and thinking 'digital first', municipalities can both save employees' time, and - perhaps more importantly - enable the elderly to live independently for longer."
Swedish Local Authorities and Regions (SKR)

Welfare technology in municipalities

The Swedish Council of Local Authorities and Regions has developed support to facilitate the work of municipalities in determining the benefits and costs of specific welfare technologies. Please use SKR's benefit calculation to calculate the benefit your municipality would receive from starting to use medication dispensers in elderly care.

What do users of the service think?

"When following up on automated dispensing machines with staff close to the organisation, it is clear how much they appreciate the support they receive from the supplier's support function. The same can be said of the project support included in the service. "It is unique that a supplier is involved in ensuring that the municipality succeeds with an implementation! Something we are very pleased about."
Mr David Wiklund
Business developers in Kramfors municipality
"This increases the safety and compliance of medication - the right medicine at the right time, to the right person. In the past, we have had a high rate of medication discrepancies, sometimes caused by a single staff member being responsible for the medication of all residents on the ward. With this, we hope to have safer medication management and a reduction in discrepancies."
Ann-Christin Linder
Business developer for Close Care, Lycksele municipality
He is calm and confident that he has taken his medicine. He feels independent and grown up and doesn't need us parents to watch him all the time. It can't be described. And for those of us who are responsible for Erik, it's a huge relief. We can let go of the worry and the thought of his medication - and we can put the nagging of childhood behind us, which is a great relief for all of us."
Charlotte
Mum of Erik, 26 years old, who has an Evondos medicine dispenser
"Patients are becoming more independent and involved in their own care and treatment. If the machines didn't exist, it would be a major barrier to giving medicines at the right time, for example when the medicine needs to be taken several times a day, when someone goes to day care early, or for people who live far from the health centre."
